Virtual "Stations"

This section of the LibGuide is designed with five subpages that reflect the stations that will be set up at the in-person event. The stations include:

  • Voter Information: Learn about voter registration and how to vote in Texas. You can use this information to create a voting plan.
  • Research the Candidates: Features tools to help you research the candidates who will be on the ballot and to help you make decisions about who you plan to vote for.
  • Take a Stand--Researching Issues: Use library databases to learn more about issues that are important to you. These resources can help you research key issues to inform where you stand.
  • Vetting Sources: Learn about how to assess whether a source is credible and whether you should share information you see posted on social media.
  • Contacting Elected Representatives: Find out how to contact your elected officials via mail, email, or phone. This page also includes tips on how to write an effective letter or email when contacting your representative.

Visit each virtual "station" to help you answer the questions in the Online Participation JotForm.
