GALILEO Open Learning Materials brings together open educational resources throughout the University System of Georgia, including open textbooks and ancillary materials. Most works hosted in GALILEO Open Learning Materials have a Creative Commons license, allowing the reuse, redistribution, remix, and revision of these materials.

A Hub is a custom resource center on OER Commons where groups can create and share collections associated with a project or organization. Projects, institutions, states and initiatives make use of Hubs to bring groups of educators together to create, organize, and share collections that meet their common goals.

Unlike other OER discovery sites (e.g, OER Commons, OASIS, MERLOT, OpenStax, etc.) with our Metafinder you aren’t searching a static database that we’ve built. Instead, the OER Metafinder launches a real-time, simultaneous search across 22 different sources of open educational materials as you hit the Search button.

Google Images, Flickr, and Wikimedia Commons offer a broad range of images under creative commons licenses or in the public domain. This page provides instructions for setting search parameters on each site to return open source images- from Alvernia University Library

The University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College Library note that open images are available for use on the open web and other unrestricted environments. You are free to use them in multimedia projects, websites, blogs, portfolios, etc. that are open and available to the public. When you use open images, you do not need to restrict access to your class or academic environment. Always read and comply with the use restrictions for specific image sources. Always cite images someone else created. Images should not be sold or used in commercial products or for commercial purposes.

The ultimate goal of the IMSLP is to gather all public domain music scores, in addition to the music scores of all contemporary composers (or their estates) who wish to release them to the public free of charge. However, another main goal of IMSLP is to facilitate the exchange of musical ideas outside of compositions

The Mutopia Project offers sheet music editions of classical music for free download. These are based on editions in the public domain. We also offer a growing number of modern editions, arrangements, and new music. The respective editors, arrangers, and composers have chosen to make these works freely available.
