The library provides instruction live on campus, pre-recorded video (posted in a LibGuide or on your D2L LMS) as well as live remote instruction using Zoom.
Library Instruction options include:
• Basic introduction to library services
• Subject specific instruction using library services
• Instruction to researching topic (assignment specific)
• Create subject/assignment specific LibGuide (books, articles, websites, videos)
• Consult with individuals/groups on research strategies
• Information Literacy/ AI Literacy component(s) or societal/subject impact
Also the Center for Instructional Excellence at Brazosport College can add us to your D2L course so your students have direct access to us with any questions and in which we can add helpful guides, videos or comments (just contact Linda or Angela and let them know the specific course & term and to add Brent Cooper as a “Librarian”)
The library offers various modes of instruction- live (Zoom or F2F), recorded video, D2L inclusion, F2F/ Zoom Librarian Consultations, Tutorials, LIbGuides- to reflect the needs of your courses.
